The forecast for Wednesday was snow but I wasn't expecting much because the weathermen are always getting it wrong. But this time they were right! Just after Savannah was off to school, the first flakes started to fall. Xander and I headed outside to see the first snowflakes of the winter. Noah got to wear his snow hat for the first time this winter as well and doesn't he look so cute and puffy! He's like a little Randy from "A Christmas Story".
Xander thought the snow tasted "yummy".
By the time we got home from running errands, the snow was starting to stick. As you can tell from the pictures, Xander was extremely excited about the snow. He shouted, "It's snowing! Santa is coming!"
Noah reached out his little hand to catch these weird white things that were falling from the sky.
When Savannah got home from school, both she and Xander spent more time outside playing in the snow. They weren't out that long, though, because it was really, really cold!
By the end of the day we had received about 3 inches or so of snow. Yes, it's not nearly as much as our friends and family in Utah got recently but it was enough for us.

Oh my gosh you are so right about Noah, made me laugh out loud. Your daughter is just the prettiest thing, and Xander.. well Xander has a lovely smile ;P
How fun! Savannah looks gorgeous and Xander and Noah are the cutest things! And Xander is starting to open his eyes when you take a picture, yea! I love that he is so excited, you can just see it in his eyes. I can't wait until Christmas!
How fun to see kids happy to see the snow! And lucky for them they get to wear such cute clothes to keep them warm! :) I absolutely CANNOT WAIT to spend time with them at Christmas!
