Although Savannah still has a week left of school, the kindergarten classes at her elementary school had an end-of-year celebration on Thursday. David was lucky enough to get off work early so he could attend as well. The activities started outside with some relay games as well as games with the parents.
Here is Savannah in the ball relay. Savannah is EXTREMELY competitive and takes her running very seriously.
The hula-hoop game with the parents. Look at David go!
Savannah and one of her best friends MacKenzie.
Yesterday was a scorcher so the Popsicles were a great treat.
After the outside fun and games, we moved into Savannah's classroom. Her teacher, Ms. Moretti, had compiled pictures taken throughout the year into a movie which we all got to watch. After that the kids sang several songs for us which were really cute.
Ms. Moretti then recognized each student in the class. Here is a picture of Savannah receiving her award from Ms. Moretti.
Savannah's graduating kindergarten class!
Savannah and Ms. Moretti. Ms. Moretti has been an amazing teacher and I am so grateful that Savannah was able to be in her class.
What a great year this has been for Savannah. We are so proud of the accomplishments she has achieved this year. She enjoyed kindergarten so much and we as parents have been so impressed with the program at her elementary school.
Watch out, First Grade!!! Here I come!!!

competitive....like her mommy! She is darling!
How fun, I could tell from the pictures that she was having the time of her life and that she was so happy to have her parents there.
Savannah, competitive? Really? I can't imagine where she gets that from.
What a fun day! I am so glad that you and David could both attend. It looks like everyone had a great time.
