For Family Home Evening this week we talked about putting on the Armor of God and what that means. The kids really enjoyed dressing up in the armor although Xander had a hard time when it was Savannah's turn because it is HIS armor. We talked about naughty things that Satan wants us to do and we wrote all of these down on some "fiery darts" that the kids then tried to throw at each other. The paper arrows just crumpled and could not penetrate our armor of God so it was a good visual for them. Xander and Savannah then colored pictures which Xander quickly finished. He brought his picture over to David and I to show us and then walked back to where Savannah was still coloring. He looked at her picture and said, "Oh, yours looks so pretty." It was such a sweet little comment.
Those fiery darts just can't penetrate our strong armor!

You are so good. I have an idea, you post your FHE ideas on Sunday and then I will replicate them on Monday with my kiddos. What a fun, and important lesson!
