Grandparents Visit!

After serving a year long mission in Oklahoma, David's parents decided to take the long way home to Salt Lake, visiting some of the southern states before moseying up our way for a visit. It was so wonderful having them here even though we didn't get to do too many exciting things with the kids in school all day. However, just having them here to talk to and hang out with was great!
The kids always love visits with family, especially grandparents. Dave and Jackie treated the kids to a trip to Toys R Us where each of them got to pick out a new toy. The boys both chose Lego sets and Grandpa was extremely patient as he helped them assemble all the minuscule pieces.

We even got to celebrate Dave's birthday while he was here.

Hopefully we'll get to visit again with them real soon! It's so hard living far away from the ones we love.

What a nice visit! I'm glad that David got to see his parents and help celebrate his dad's birthday. How great it is to have family visit!

Well, David's parents look wonderful! I hope that they were able to relate many wonderful mission stories to the kids. That picture of Dave with all the kids is too precious!
