Beautiful Weather

The past few days have brought absolutely beautiful weather - plenty of sunshine and warmth, with temperatures in the mid 60's. When Savannah gets home from school, she and Xander have been heading outside to play with the neighbor kids while this "heat" lasts. Noah and I took advantage of the warm weather yesterday and spent some time out on our deck. Noah crawled all over exploring and found some tasty leaves to eat. Yum-yum. Ahhh, if only this kind of weather would last all month but the forecast says we're getting rain and a temperature drop for the end of the week. Oh, well...we love it while it's here.

A flashback to last year at this same time. It was the 6th of January and the temperature was 84! What a beautiful day. We couldn't resist doing something fun in the unusual heat we were having in January so we headed down to DC for the day. We saw the Capitol and the Washington Monument and enjoyed a picnic lunch. I was almost 7 months pregnant at the time and it's amazing to think that Noah is now almost a year old...that fun day in Washington doesn't seem that long ago.

That is so nice to have such nice weather! Noah is such a doll. I miss him! I don't really miss you but your kids, yes! Just kidding!

I forgot to comment on your last year's thing. Isn't weird to think that was Noah inside your belly? Crazy, huh?
