We spent our last morning of vacation at Festival Park on Roanoke Island
Touring the replica of the ship the Elizabeth II
Visiting a settlement site
Trying on the old-time armor
Playing a game called sittles or something like that, similar to bowling
Beating David at that game...hee-hee
The wonderful hands-on museum
Trying on all the fun costumes
Playing pirates
Looking at all the interesting exhibits they had
After spending the morning at Festival Park we headed home. It was truly a wonderful vacation and we hope to return again soon.

WOW!!! It looks like you guys had so much fun!! I wish we could have been there!! Looks like we definitely missed out on some fun!! I love all the pictures!! There are even some nice ones of David being silly! He usually looks so serious in pictures!! I enjoyed looking at them all. It had to be a very enjoyable trip!!
