Noah's Superhero Birthday Party

Two months without a computer has been tough especially since it has put me way behind on my blog. So over the next few days my goal is to get our family journal up to date. To start with? Noah's 4 year Superhero birthday party. We had about ten little boys and girs invade our home for some fun, superhero style. The first game we played was Pass the Kryptonite...the only problem with this was I had a lot of explaining to do about kryptonite and why it made Superman weak (these little guys have obviously not spent a lot of time watching Superman). They did grasp that if they were holding the green stick when the music stopped, they needed to fall down with weakness.

Next was the Superhero training obstacle course outside. I love this picture of Noah's excitement as he gets ready to run the course. By the way, Noah is dressed as wolverine.

The course included swinging like Spiderman,

jumping over a tall building in a single bound like Superman,

and running as fast as Flash!

Helping himself to some yummies!

While the kids enjoyed some snacks, the villain, Master Xander, shouted down that he was going to ruin the party...and then he dropped a lot of bombs.

We had the kids quickly difuse them before they exploded. Lucky them - the bombs contained candy!

There was a visit from Mr. Freeze

and then cake and ice cream.

Noah's favorite gifts were the Thor helmet and hammer

and the Green Lantern robot.

Another fun party!
