Snow Day!

Yes, it's true...we finally got some. Snow, that is. It started Sunday night and snowed most of Monday. It was such beautiful, white, powdery soft snow, the kind you want to run out and play in. The kids and I were looking forward to building a snow man, throwing some snowballs, and making some snow angels. But that just didn't happen due to the horrible wind! The wind was blowing so hard that snow was whipping around everywhere and it was hard to stay outside for very long without being completely miserable.

Noah was so excited about the snow and just stood looking out at it forever. He kept pointing and saying, "Sno, sno."

David braved the wind and shoveled our front walk.

Later in the afternoon the wind had died down a little so the kids headed out. They weren't out long, however...it was just too cold and windy. After about 45 minutes they came in to warm up with some hot cocoa.

Poor little Noah...he turned into a popsicle.

I definitely don't envy all of you in Baltimore. I just don't like snow and the cold that accompanies it! Anyways, I bet the kids loved it and Noah could not be cuter. Love you.
