Activities

Thursday Xander's preschool class had an activity day with the parents. We headed up to the arena (Xander's preschool is located in a family athletic club) and played with a parachute, hula hoops, and balls. Xander and I had a great time running around, playing some soccer. After the arena the kids headed over to the huge tree house located next to the arena and ran around in there while the parents talked. It was a lot of fun to spend some one-on-one time with Xander.

Jumping like a frog.

Xander loves to play soccer and he's got a pretty good kick!

The fun tree house.

Also this past week Savannah participated in the Jump Rope for Heart at her school. She was able to raise some money, thanks to several wonderful sponsors (thank you to those who supported her). All of the money raised goes to the American Heart Association. She also received a jump rope for participating, which she was really excited about. The kindergarten kids have been practicing jump roping during PE for several weeks but Savannah was really struggling with it. But she practiced a lot this week and now she definitely has the hang of it.

We are doing this at our school too! It is fun to see the kids get so excited about fitness, exercise, and raising money to help others.
