Every summer when we go to Cincinnati the kids absolutely LOVE going to the children's museum but we had never checked out the one here in Baltimore until this summer. We headed down there with David's parents and had a fabulous time! There were a ton of things to do: a water room, a huge, modern tree house smack dab in the middle of the museum that covered three floors, a little soccer field, a mystery to solve, computers, an Egyptian room, a deli, a grocery store, and several other rooms.
Noah was especially excited to spend some time with Bob the Builder.

We spent almost an hour in the deli, the kids were having that much fun cooking up meals for us.

Savannah's "apple pie".

One of my personal favorites was the Egypt adventure. The kids got to write their name in hieroglyphs, look at mummies, and check out the inside of a sarcophagus.

After the museum we decided to walk down by the harbor but quickly changed our minds; it was just too dang hot. Before heading back to the car we stopped to get some yummy frappuccinos from Starbucks! A perfect treat for a blazin' hot day.

Fun! We so miss the Baltimore childrens museum...do know its one of the top rated ones in the nation?! We thought it was worth it to join tho a few years ago they would include free parking and apparentely now that's not the case. I think they are part of the museum reciprocal program too so if you travel you could get into some of the others for free. On our recent trip out there they let us in for free since we belong to the one here in TX (that is much smaller and not as diverse!). Missed seeing you on the one Sunday we were there!

Looks like so much fun, Trace! I truly miss you and your family. It was great being able to see all of you for a few weeks. Thanks for inspiring me as well with the whole blogging thing. I need to get going with that also! Say hello to everyone for me and give them a hug from their uncle Bryan.
